The book begins with the main character, Barney being haunted. His cozy sister, Tabitha, looked into it and raise out that their family had magicians. It seemed that magic had brought them troubles. They could make elegant things similar flowers bounce in the air, but at the same time they could fire up up your darkest memories as a gift to you. They could mostly do all the things, but what is the right thing to do? They struggled between magic and ordinary living. They made different choices but they are all wrong. Great-Granny Scholar had once used her magic frightfully and she killed her magic in guilty. Great Uncle Cole, caused communica- tion problems with the others, especially his mother, because of their dislike of magic. Troy, Barneys sister, hid everything and tried hard to be ordinary unwillingly to come through others acceptation. None of their choices brought them happiness. After spinning the world, the magicians learned to take a balance between magical and ordinary living maturely.
The family became nestled and learned to accept each other at last.
