Before I start talking ab step up how I would perform the role of Katherine I need to establish a clear aim in the motion picture so that I stomach perform the role accordingly. That being said at the beginning of the scene I would come on stage with the opposite characters with a relaxed perplex and a smile on my face indicating to the audience that this is the new(a) Katherine. A much gentle and approachable Katherine who has been tamed by Petruchio. When Petruchio says Off with that bauble throw it underfoot! I would with a big smile on my face obey the command and almost enjoy it as Im doing it. again to symbolise to the audience that Katherine has changed. She has changed a lot since the beginning of the play. belongings a smile on my face throughout this scene is quite important.
It constitutes to the audience that Katherine, now tamed is really happy. She can truly enjoy life and its brilliance to the fullest now that she has someone who really has shown her love and care and she has learned to show those feelings back.
When Petruchio says the line What duty they do owe their lords and husbands I would want the other female characters to surge in shock at what Petruchio said but as Katherine I would not gasp and rather ponder for a moment putting my flip over up to my face to clearly show that the character is honestly thinking about this.
