He also found out he was a wizard and that his parents had not been killed in a car possibility but by the dark wizard, Voldemort.
Throughout the book, Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, you see the characters of bravery and adventure. He often brings himself into insecure situations. In this first book Harry Potter goes to recover the stone and fights with Lord Voldemort. He was only eleven social classs old and fought face to face against the most self-destructive wizard. This situation also shows that he cares for his friends and doesnt compulsion them to be in trouble.
When he wanted to find the stone he wanted to go by himself. He didnt want his crush friends, Ron and Hermoine, to go with him because the situation was too dangerous.
other characteristic is how respectful and faithful Harry Potter is to everyone that he loves. He respected Albus Dombledore who was the headmaster of Hogwarts and the only wizard that Voldemort feared. Another respected person was Sirius Black who was his godfather and dads best friend. Harry was upset when he found out that Snape killed Dombledore and Sirius Black. Harry showed his faithfulness to his friends and would bunk angry and yell at concourse who despised anyone he loved.
