And, John could talk normally to his farther because his father spent most of his time and money on his collection since his mother left him and his father. But, when reading the book I could understand more and the special relationship of them help the polish off of the movie has more meaning when John decided to sell his father coins collection to help Tim pay for the hospitals treatment fees.
