For me it was interesting to know that romance as music genre is a traditionally Russian type of music creativity. From the very beginning of romance as a music genre gifted Russian poets contributed to its development.
Russian romance is well-known all over the world for its familiar lyrical songs. These songs touch your soul, pare your emotions to the cellular level. They make you swallow into the atmosphere of your innermost feelings. Some people are certain(a) that the so-called “mysterious Russian soul” has found slipway of expressing its passions in romance.
I have always associated Romance with chamber music which is composed for accompaniment of one instrument, mainly piano, or guitar, but the second half of the concert was the blasting of all my expectations.



All songs of the second half were accompanied with an orchestra. It was absolutely unprovided for(predicate) and stunning. I wish I hadn’t sat many distance from the stage, but I think it didn’t impress me to enjoy every bit of the concert. After the final agree the audience burst out into stormy applause. There was no doubt that the musicians were at their best that evening.
