Critical Thinking and a Democratic Society
Society today being all communicate or in the sleep to loafher has many benefits. The business leader to use critical and creative persuasion in life situations is also part of our free lodge. An informed citizenry will benefit from applying both creative intellection and critical view in solving the challenges of our gild. This quote summarizes the ability to find an effective solution to our problems. In some non-democratic societies youre not allowed to hold creatively because you run the risk of either being jailed or worst put to ending; for challenging the control party.
The same can be express about thinking critically in democratic societies because if youre thinking critically you might have a cave in chance of succeeding with your plans and reaching a wider audience. Non-democratic societies have ruling parties or even individuals who will try everything in their force to prevent you from reaching a wider audience or achieving your goal. In our society we have the luxury of thinking creatively and thinking critically in a free society. Critical thinking can range anywhere from deciding what outfit youre going to wear for the day to who youre going to right to vote into office during election year.
Slavery is an example of a non-democratic society; slaves were oppressed and werent allowed to voice their opinion or think for themselves. When a slave would speak out against their overseer they would be punished, and if they tried to escape they would be hung if captured to set an example to the others if like ideas of escape were being plotted. Another example of a non-democratic society is the Revolutionary War. Before we became America we were under Englands convening which was monarchy. So basically whatever the king said from across the pond as we call it today was law no questioning was allowed and if you did question the rule you were either shot, hung, or displace to a confinement camp.
